Defect Management Suite

Software for tracking and monitoring of products that are returned from the field or from the production process. Our software automates parts of the analysis process, including connection to diagnostic interfaces where avaiable and automation of checklists.

Cybersecurity Suite

We develop frameworks for cybersecurity which are deployed within our client’s products and in the manufacturing environment. Our products run in production lines in Europe and Asia. They are used at two major tier 1 automotive suppliers and have passed audits with major OEMs. We offer a multi- site solution with secure synchronisation. The framework handles converting R&D data into production relevant information, generation of cryptographic data and storage in appropriate databases. It interfaces between different types of database and secure transmission of confidential information between the client ́s various sites and between the locations of the sub-supplier and OEM.

Business process software

Our team has a vast knowledge of business and process design, but we are also a software house. When combined, this knowledge allows us to provide software which is tailored for business processes, especially in an automotive environment. The process design is based on project and product knowledge, so you get a practical solution which simplifies custom workflow. Some of the examples are modelling financial process like arbitrage or specific investment types, management of particular inventory types and certification management.

At Syntbit, we also developed software for human resources and people management. Vacation applications, timesheets and travel costs are being taken care of in two-layer approval – one from technical lead and the other from a project manager or project coordinator. It is available in multiple languages and simple to use.

Manufacturing tools

Our clients develop advanced products, often incorporating technologies that are new to them, for example, the use of LiDAR or cybersecurity. Early support of the manufacturing environment can bring high cost and risk reduction, but often the RnD departments are overloaded with customer requirements and changing specifications. As experts in ADAS and automotive products, we provide software and hardware for the automation of production, calibration, testing and cybersecurity. Combining a strong knowledge of the technical content and manufacturing allows us to offer quick solutions to manufacturing requirements.

IATF 16949 processes such as disposal of non-conforming product, end-of-line testing or analysis of warranty parts require detailed knowledge of the system design. Our system engineers have developed a comprehensive and transferable software framework to support these processes. For example, we can analyse lens defects in warrantied automotive camera using diagnostic functions that are implemented in the camera and supported by the analysis software.

Automotive environments add requirements to many aspects of process design and software. At the clients’ request, we implemented automotive practices and cybersecurity techniques into automotive-specific ERP and MES systems. The system is tailored rapidly to client needs and has multiple deployment options, including cloud-based and local server options. Multi-site functionality is also supported where the applications are securely linked across sites.

At Syntbit, we utilise the latest agile methodologies and work with Qt creator for rapid customisation. In recent months, for some of our clients, we have split in half software and hardware costs for specific applications such as end-of-line testing.
